2 Tips for your trip!

    – The price of the tickets were simply way too expensive for the actual experience. For a family of 4, we paid over $130 to visit Jurassic Quest. We waited in line (outside) for over thirty minutes before we even reached the ticketing booth to get inside. There were way too many people for the number of attractions offered. The initial dinosaur display was underwhelming and much smaller than anticipated. In our city, there are animatronic dinosaurs at the Calgary zoo, which are comparable to the ones Jurassic Quest had on display.
    – The promotional materials for this event made it seem a lot better than it was… almost to the point where it felt like false advertising. The displays were a total let down, and the whole experience felt like a complete waste of money.
    – The lineups for the kids’ attractions were outrageous. It wasn’t completely clear which attractions needed a red wristband. No clear signage, and for the price I paid ($27.50), I expected there would be more for my preschooler to enjoy. We stood in line for the bouncy castle for over 15 minutes, and it was only when we got to the front did the staff say “you need a red wristband.” Uhh… why didn’t someone say anything? Paying extra to go inside a bouncy castle? Really?! The “paid” attractions were also so underwhelming. I don’t think a dinosaur moving two inches forward and backward counts as a “ride” worth waiting 30 minutes for. The little track was literally just a Walmart Power Wheels car going around in circles.
    – No seats… we were attending with an elderly family member, and there were literally zero seats at the venue. Guests were sitting on the dirty floor. For an event geared towards families, I’d expect some seating, at the minimum.
    – The staff seemed highly disengaged and uninterested in providing customer service. Concession line ups were also beyond ridiculous. It seemed like the employees were operating in slow motion. The staff were just gossiping with each other, not even acknowledging the visitors. They also didn’t seem knowledgeable at all on the science behind the displays.

I could keep going on, but this entire experience was just so disappointing. It felt like a huge money grab, and fell so short of my expectations. I cannot and will not recommend this event to any friends, given the steep price of admission and lacklustre displays. I feel completely ripped off and deceived. My preschooler did not enjoy it either (I’d be willing to look past much of this if my child at least had fun, which he did not). I feel like this experience warrants a partial refund at least, given that this felt like a complete scam/rip-off.

Not a great experience. Overpriced, minimal interaction. 1h+ wait per ride so the Unlimited passes were a complete waste. Essentially 100 ft of neat looking dinosaurs leading to a food court and merch table with 6 large dino rides on the side. The raptor trainer show is very difficult for kids to even see let alone hear.
