Alberta is in Stage 2 of Alberta’s reopening Strategy which allows movie theatres, gyms, pools, libraries, casinos and churches to reopen from June 12. The government has also increased gathering limits to 100 outdoors and 50 indoors. Physical distancing measures still remain.
As part of Stage two, 50 per cent capacity limit for provincial campgrounds has been lifted. By July 1, all camping sites will be open for reservations 100% capacity for individual campsites (both reserve and first come, first served), and backcountry camping by July 1.
Alberta Parks have reopened some campgrounds at select parks from June 12th.
