A&W Canada has announced that its Masala Veggie Burger, initially offered as a regional item in Ontario, will now be available nationwide due to exceptional consumer demand.

The rollout follows a successful debut in Ontario, where the burger sold out in many locations within just one week.
The Masala Veggie Burger combines traditional South Asian flavours with a vegetarian patty made from vegetables and Nanak paneer, a popular type of South Asian cheese. The burger is seasoned with select spices and served with a spicy piri-piri sauce, fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and crisp red onions.
A&W partnered with Nanak Foods, a major Canadian producer of traditional South Asian dairy products, to develop the Masala Veggie patty.
This new addition, priced at $6, will be available at A&W locations nationwide, though only for a limited time, following the high demand in its Ontario trial run.
