Nickelback, Alberta’s most renowned band, is set to headline the final night of the Calgary Stampede on July 14, 2024, at the Scotiabank Saddledome.
The group, consisting of Chad Kroeger, Ryan Peake, Mike Kroeger, and Daniel Adair, is celebrated for their significant impact on the music industry over the last two decades, with hits like “How You Remind Me,” “Photograph,” and “Rockstar.”
Special guests, The Glorious Sons, will join Nickelback. This band has achieved considerable success with two Platinum and six Gold certifications, becoming a force in the rock music scene.
Nickelback has sold over 50 million units worldwide, making them one of the top-selling acts globally and earning them a place in the Canadian Music Hall of Fame in 2023. Their enduring popularity is backed by more than 23 chart-topping singles and numerous awards, including Billboard’s recognition as the top rock band of the 2000s.
The Glorious Sons, known for their raw and passionate rock ‘n’ roll spirit, have steadily risen to fame with their latest album “Glory,” showcasing their broad artistic vision and the hit single “Speed of Light.”
Other famous artists heading to the Calgary Stampede include Motley Crue on July 11, Miranda Lambert on July 12, and the Jonas Brothers on July 13.
Tickets for the concert, priced starting at $65 plus fees and taxes, go on sale to the public on March 15, with presales beginning Mar 12. Admission to the concert includes access to the Stampede, offering a full day of activities.
