This festival has something for everyone, whether you’re a lover of folk music or just looking for a good time. With the festival located on Georgetown’s stunning waterfront, you can enjoy the beaches, sunsets, camping, and a beer garden while listening to music from roots to rock.
Cloggeroo is not just about traditional folk music; the festival offers a wide variety of folk-inspired music including reggae, salsa, and soul, and even some late-night DJ dance parties.
Running from August 11 to 13, the lineup features some of the best folk music from across the Atlantic provinces, Canada, and even internationally.
On Friday night, you can catch Kinley, The Mellotones, The Barr Brothers, and Wharf Rats.
Saturday afternoon offers Big Country and Veranda, while the evening features Out From Under, Kellie Loder, The Town Heroes, Adam Baldwin, and The Fabulously Rich. And, on Sunday, you can enjoy the sounds of Theresa Malenfant, Garrett Mason, and Campbell & Johnston’s Black Market Band.
The festival site is located at West Street Park in Georgetown, and if you want to camp, there’s a campground available at 216 Burnt Point Rd. So, grab your dancing shoes and get ready to enjoy a weekend of fantastic music and good times!
