Canadian Food Truck Festivals is back with the Pickering Food Truck Festival at the Esplanade Park this weekend from August 8 to 10.

You can get tasty delights from some of the best food trucks in the country at the festival.
Twenty-nine food trucks — 6 Spice Rack, Alfie’s Lemonade, BeaverTails, Buster’s Sea Cove, Cheeseheadz, Chill Delights Ice Cream, ChocoBerry, Churros By Rebozos, Dave’s Drupatis Roti and Doubles, Greek Goat, Heavenly Dreams Ice Dream, HK Food Station, Jerk Brothers, La Fiesta, La Paisa, Los Vietnamita, Masa Mexico City Tacos, Mustache Burger, Real Empanada, Rebozos Taqueria, Smoke’s Poutinerie, Steak Barrels, Super Churros, The Kabab Shoppe, Toastee Rollz, Tornado Fries, Tropic Love, Tut’s Egyptian Street Food, andWe Cater Food on Wheels — will be serving up delicious fare with options ranging from gluten-free, and vegan to halal.
The weekend is packed with exciting performances and challenges. On Friday, August 8, enjoy music from Echo Eve at 5:00 pm, followed by The Hip Experience at 7:15 pm.
Saturday, August 9 features two Eating Challenges at 2:15 pm and 6:00 pm, with Acoustic on Fire at 4:00 pm and Dramazoid at 7:00 pm.
On Sunday, August 10, the Eating Challenge returns at 2:15 pm and 5:00 pm, with Acoustic on Fire at 2:30 pm, and SMILE: Tribute to Grunge closing the event at 6:00 pm.
The best part is that there is no admission fee.
The Esplanade North and The Esplanade South will be temporarily closed to facilitate the Pickering Food Truck Festival.

What: 29 Food Trucks will be serving up some of the best food from the country at the Pickering Food Truck Festival. There will be cold beer, delicious food, and local performers geared to entertain the masses!

Road Closures:
The Esplanade North and The Esplanade South will be temporarily closed to facilitate the Pickering Food Truck Festival.
Traffic controls will be in effect from Thursday, August 7, 2025 – 7:00 am to Monday, August 11, 2025 – 7:00 am
The Esplanade North – will be closed from Valley Farm Road to the Civic Complex underground parking ramp from Thursday, August 7, 7:00 am to Monday, August 11, 7:00 am. The sidewalk on the south side of The Esplanade North will not be accessible during the closure.
The Esplanade South – will be closed from Valley Farm Road to the Pickering Civic Complex outbound parking lot driveway from Thursday, August 7, 7:00 am to Monday, August 11, 7:00 am. Neither the sidewalks nor the pathways will be accessible on The Esplanade South during the closure.
Additional Temporary Accessible Parking – will be available on the south side of The Esplanade North from Valley Farm Road to the Civic Complex underground parking ramp, and on a portion of the east side of Glenanna Road (south of The Esplanade South) from Thursday, August 7, 7:00 am to Monday, August 11, 7:00 am.
