The giveaway honours Toronto Blue Jays player Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and his favourite pizza flavour.
Fans can claim their free small cheese pizza through the Pizza Pizza app using the code “PLAKATA” or in person with any purchase at participating locations. The offer is limited to cheese pizzas, chosen to reflect Guerrero Jr.’s personal preference.
Adrian Fuoco, Chief Marketing Officer of Pizza Pizza Limited, said the initiative was designed to celebrate a memorable moment for both baseball and pizza fans across Canada.
