Popeyes has expanded its menu by introducing Boneless Wings across its Canadian locations, marking the first time this item has been available in the country.
This new addition follows the launch of traditional wings late last year.
The Boneless Wings are a permanent menu item and feature Popeyes’ Signature Mild Classic Seasoning Blend.
Customers can enjoy these wings in a Classic flavour or choose from four other distinctive options: Honey BBQ, Signature Hot, Roasted Garlic Parmesan, and a unique flavor tailored for the Canadian market, Honey Garlic.
“While we just launched Wings a few months back, we knew we couldn’t stop there. Popeyes is a brand that loves to offer guests variety and exciting menu innovations – which is why we’re very excited to bring something new to the table with Boneless,” said Rob Manuel, General Manager, Popeyes Canada in a statement.
“Our new Boneless Wings are a real game changer, bringing the best flavours from our existing Wing platform to a new offering that gives guests the best of both wings.”
Per the news release, the wings are prepared from tender, all-white meat chicken breast, which is hand-battered, breaded, and then fried to achieve a crispy finish. Popeyes says this preparation method ensures a savoury experience across all flavour options, whether the customer prefers something mild or with a spicy kick.
The Boneless Wings are now available at participating Popeyes restaurants throughout Canada, starting at approximately $8.99 for six pieces.
