Ice City has taken over Charlottetown from January 26th – March 31st, 2024. Decking the streets in ice sculptures, art installations and other wintery decor, Ice City will also have the return of Sugar Shacks each weekend at various outdoor patios, horse and wagon rides, Skating Under the Stars, Flow in the Snow with Charlottetown Yoga at Founders’ Hall, and more!

Bonshaw Hills Provincial Park
The lovely Bonshaw Hills Provincial Park is open all winter long. There are over 18kms of trails that will take you along the Bonshaw River. Parts of the natural adventure playground are not available during the winter.

Confederation Trail
The picturesque Confederation Trail is a great trail to explore on a snowmobile. In addition to the Main Trail there are several side trails that one can undertake. The main trail starts in Tignish and ends in Elmira. Do keep in mind that the snowmobiles have the right of way while there is snow on the trails.
