Interested in attending a fun, lively festival? The Toronto Korean Festival is a fantastic event you will want to check out.

Toronto Korea Festival
There will be lots of fun activities at this year’s festival including tightrope walking along with a Taekwondo opening ceremony and musical performances.
There’s also going to be a K-Pop dance competition that you won’t want to miss. Also at the festival, you’ll find some great food from plenty of different local vendors. Try to save room so you can try as many amazing available dishes as possible.
There will also be over 50 market vendors around the festival. Spend time checking out everything they offer, and consider picking up a souvenir to commemorate your experience at this amazing festival.
Along with these fun events, you’ll want to check out the traditional Korean games, the dalgona candy making, Squid Game, and the mocktail social if you’d prefer to avoid alcohol while you’re here.
The Toronto Korean festival starts on August 26th and runs until August 28th. Entrance into the festival is free.

Yesterday, August 27, my husband and I tried to attend the Korean Festival at Mel Lastman Square. You should have put out a sign saying “No entry to disabled people”. Most paved surfaces were blocked with vendors leaving people with accessibility devices to travel on the grass. I use a mobility scooter and it is not grass friendly. On some of the paved areas there were wires across the road with the heavy duty protectors. My scooter cannot cross these barriers. After getting stuck and having people come to help lift my scooter over the wire protector we decided to leave. It was totally frustrating. I was stunned that a public event like this had no provision for people with mobility devices. Is that legal?
