The u-pick farms around Calgary offer a lot more than just berry-picking. In addition to being able to bring home berries, fruit, or vegetables by the bucket-full, visiting local u-pick farms offer an afternoon out of the house and in fresh air, a chance to forage your own food, an educational and physical activity for great for kids, and scenic drives through Calgary’s surrounding foothills and prairies.
Some u-pick farms can only accommodate by appointment and ask that you call ahead. Other good things to remember before you start your pick are to bring plenty of water and sun protection, that bathrooms may not be available on-site, and some farms may require you to bring your own bucket and gloves.

Hi there.
This is Carly from Prairie Berry YYC.
Firstly, thanks so much for adding us here. Could you please update the listing! We are in full swing and have incredibly plump berries. They’re better than they’ve been in years and we have been one of the only Sask berry upick’s in the area with such a great crop.
I’d hugely appreciate it. Thanks.
