Uptown Waterloo Chocolate Trail: Taste Your Way Through Delicious Treats This Weekend

This Easter long weekend, go on a chocolate hunting adventure and eat your way through a variety of wonderful chocolaty treats – both sweet and savoury.

Try all or choose from a few on your tasting journey. There are 24 yummy spots you can visit, so don’t miss out on this mouthwatering experience in Uptown Waterloo.

Check out Café1842’s delicious Belgian waffles served with chocolate sauce along with a nice hot cup of coffee or a wonderful cup of hot chocolate at the Princess Café located at 46 King St. N.

At Seven Shores you can try out their hot chocolate and daily featured yummy chocolate baked goods. Seven Shores is located at 8 Regina St. N.

Crumby Cookie Dough Co. at 8 Regina St. N. is serving their scrumptious “Bunny Don’t Lay That” desert which is a cocoa cookie dough with milk chocolate pieces and creme egg ribbon while Q’s Cakes and Cafe at 7 Peppler St, is serving gluten free brownies. You can also try fudge brownies at the Aroma Café at 33 Erb St.W.

If you want something spicy you should try Taco Farm’s chocolate chill chicken.

Taste “Best in Show”, a delicious chocolate torte with peanut and almond, chocolate ganache, sea salt caramel and fudge, at the Proof Kitchen + Lounge at 110 Erb St. W. or  wonderful chocolate gelato at the Famoso Neapolitan Pizzeria at 15 King St. S.

Enjoy skor tarts at Just Love Pie and chocolate tarts at Cafe 22. Just Love Pie is at 33 Erb St.W. Cafe 22 is located at 22 King St. S.

You can eat German Chocolate Cake Stout at Beertown at 75 King St. S or Nougat Bakery’s scrumptious chocolate eclairs at 75 King St.

For ice cream lovers, Four-all Ice Cream is serving chocolate milk ice cream.
