There’s lots of fun to be had, and it’s a unique way to say goodbye to summer and welcome autumn.

Last year, the festival celebrated its 100th anniversary. This year, the festival has planned many activities for the whole family.

Get to the festival early (9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.) to enjoy the delicious and popular pancake breakfast. Bring the kids for a day full of family-friendly fun, including entertainment, children’s activities, live music, a vendor market, a petting zoo, a dog show, and more! Visitors can enjoy old-fashioned games like tug of war, potato sack races, and more!

The most celebrated part of the festival, the Largest Pumpkin Weigh-Off, occurs at 10:30 a.m. at Charison’s Turkey Hatchery Grandstand. Be inspired by all the intricately carved pumpkins for your next Jack O’ Lantern! Maybe a new Guinness World Record for the heaviest pumpkin will be set in Manitoba this year!

This year, the Ag Fair has introduced various prize categories, including canning, baking, floral arrangement, artwork, handicrafts, in addition to pumpkins and gourds, as well as fruits and vegetables. Be sure to enter your produce, art, or baked goods for a chance to win prizes.
