Presented by Island Coastal, the festival spans four unique venues, offering a blend of outdoor and indoor activities that capture the essence of winter joy.
From thrilling tube runs to mesmerizing ice sculptures and lively musical performances, here are highlights of 2026 edition of Jack Frost Winterfest:
I. Snowtopia @ Mark Arendz Provincial Ski Park | Ticketed
Here, the natural beauty of the Mark Arendz Provincial Ski Park is transformed into a winter playground. Highlights include tube runs, ice sculptures, and sleigh rides, and more!
- Outdoor Winter Adventures: Snowtopia’s outdoor zone centres on active winter fun, featuring five tube runs, snow slides designed for younger children, Gaga Ball and interactive game areas. The space is built for a range of ages, combining high-energy downhill thrills with more relaxed play zones, creating a snow-filled environment focused on movement, recreation and shared seasonal experiences.
- Live Performances and Entertainment: Across three days, the Warming Tent and Buskers Stage host a steady schedule of music and performances. Highlights include dance parties, silent discos, singalongs, kids trivia, Disney hits, and live music sets. Buskers such as Scott Jackson, Wacky Chad and Pyromeo appear daily, alongside performers including Stephanie Ross and David Woodside.
- Family Activities and Winter Experiences: Families can explore winter crafts at the Nordic Lodge, face painting and face jewels in the Warming Tent, and live ice sculpting demonstrations at the Nordic site. Horse and sleigh rides run in morning and afternoon blocks each day. Visitors can also try biathlon marksmanship on Saturday and enjoy maple syrup taffy from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Food, Warmth and Equipment Rentals: Bonfires, hot chocolate and on-site food vendors provide places to warm up between activities. The Warming Tent offers games and children’s entertainment throughout the day. Nordic Sports equipment rentals and trail tickets for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and fat biking are available daily from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at a discounted cost.

Transformed into a haven of indoor fun, this venue, presented by Sunly, features bouncy castles, carnival games, and a stage for kid-friendly performances:
- Friday Night Kickoff – Swift Kick Concert: The Indoor Kids Zone opens February 13 with Swift Kick, an all-ages Taylor Swift tribute concert. The show runs from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., with doors at 6:00 p.m. Face painting is available from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A separate ticket is required.
- Interactive Play and Character Experiences: The venue transforms into a family activity hub with bouncy castles, tot-friendly games, carnival treats, and meet-and-greets with Jack Frost and other characters. Face painting and jewels are offered daily, alongside the Blank Canvas Winter Craft Zone. VIP access runs 9:00–10:30 a.m., with general admission beginning at 10:30 a.m.
- Frosty Stage Headliners and Performances: The Frosty Stage features the children’s highlight Winter Forever: A KPop Tribute, presented multiple times across the weekend. - Roaming Acts and Variety Entertainment: Throughout Saturday to Monday, performers such as Scott Jackson, Wacky Chad, and Pyromeo appear, adding live variety acts to the schedule. Balloon twisting sessions run each day, complementing stage programming. Monday includes Stomping T’s Wheel of Song with Musicman Mike, rounding out a multi-day indoor program designed for continuous children’s entertainment.
III. Warm & Glow Zone @ Founders Food Hall & Market | Free
The Warm & Glow Zone offers a quintessential winter experience, blending outdoor ice skating with the warmth of indoor relaxation, complemented by the lively atmosphere of a DJ skate party and busker performances. Visitors can enjoy the cozy ambiance of fire pits and indulge in delicious offerings from food vendors, all while sipping hot cocoa, emphasizing the seamless blend of winter chill and warm wonder.

- Fireside Gatherings and Outdoor Comfort: The Warm-Up Zone centres on relaxed winter socializing with outdoor fire pits and heaters during the Fireside Social on multiple days. Visitors can warm up between activities, sip free hot chocolate courtesy of Dairy Farmers of PEI prepared by Oh Hey PEI, and gather at Founders’ Food Hall & Market Patio for informal evening and afternoon programming.
- Skating and On-Ice Entertainment: The Founders’ Food Hall Skating Rink hosts free skating sessions with lights and music across the weekend, with helmets required. Programming includes DJ Skate with MikTweetz on Friday and a Mascot Skate on Monday. Ice time runs afternoon into evening on Saturday and Sunday, and late morning through afternoon on Monday.
- Live Music, Performers and Special Events: Free performances animate the market space throughout the festival. Acts include Scott Jackson, Wacky Chad and Pyromeo on Saturday, and Adam MacGregor’s pop hits on Sunday. Monday features a Princess Party and Martin Watson performing Disney hits. Saturday night concludes with fireworks at 7:00 p.m.
- Interactive Activities and Family Fun: Families can take part in horse and wagon rides Saturday afternoon, free for passholders and $5 for non-passholders.
