2. World Waterpark and Galaxyland – West Edmonton Mall

The “greatest indoor show on Earth” gets this claim to fame mostly from West Edmonton Mall’s indoor waterpark and theme park: the World Waterpark and Galaxyland. Both offer their own unique adventures, too. At the waterpark you can climb the stairs to take on the Twister, Nessie’s Revenge, or the Skyscreamer. Within Galaxyland are several Hasbro themed rides with thrills for all ages, including the famous Mindbender triple-loop rollercoaster.

3. Snow Valley Aerial Park – Edmonton

The Aerial Park at Snow Valley is back for 2022 in central Edmonton! It features fun and unique ways to embar on a clip n’ climb adventure with 15meters of structure to vertically explore. Climb to the top together and enjoy stunning ravine views and a patio at the very top of the structure. 4. Canyon Coaster – Red Deer

The new Canyon Coaster is a perfect destination for any family in search of adventure in central Alberta and makes for a thrilling stop on any road trip. Red Deer’s Canyon Coaster opens summer 2022 and will operate as an alpine coaster (on a single metal track with gravity as your accelerant).

5. Aqua Splash – Sylvan Lake

The Aqua Splash is coming back to Sylvan Lake this summer! Aqua Splash is a gigantic inflatable waterpark which floats on the water, and which is the only of its kind in Alberta. The inflatable structure offers hours of fun for all ages with several exciting features like a 15 ft. slide, launch bags, and an oversized trampoline that can launch you straight into the water.

8. Mount Norquay Via Ferratta – Banff

The Via Ferratta Experience is unlike any other in Alberta. It involves you being harnessed to a steel cable (helmets includes) while a guide takes you up Mt. Norquay. There are ladders installed along the climb for which you are always safely strapped in, and you will use their incredibly high suspension bridge to cross the valleys.
