Tablelands Trail
This relaxing hiking trail follows the old rail roadbed at the base of the mountain. If you are looking for a shorter hike, you can branch off onto the Serpentine Loop. There are guided interpretive hikes during the summer months.

Baker’s Brook Falls
A well-maintained trail with lots of boardwalks, The Baker’s Brook Fall Trail is part of the Berry Hill Campground. The trail does reward hikers with a fantastic view of the falls. There is a moose enclosure a short way off the trail, so be very careful on the trail because the moose call the forest home.

Coastal Trail
More of a stroll than a hike, the Coastal Trail offers amazing views of the ocean, passes by small ponds and a cobble beach. The trail starts from Green Point campground and is a looped trail.

Gros Morne Mountain
If you are looking for a challenge, the Gros Morne Mountain Trail will put your hiking skills to the test. Follow the trail to Gros Morne National Park’s highest point and take in the breathtaking views. The trail is an 8km loop and can take over 6 hours to complete. The trail is closed to hikers in May and June because the soil is wet and animals are raising their young.

Stanleyville Trail
The Stanleyville Trail follows the shores of Paynes Cove to the abandoned community of Stanleyville. Although Stanleyville has been deserted for over 80 years, you can still find garden plants and old machinery throughout the community.

Trout River Pond Trail
Trout River Pond Trail rewards hikers with spectacular views of Trout River Pond and the Trout River fjord. At the end of the trail, make sure to relax in the red chairs and enjoy the view. The trail is a moderate challenge because the first half is wet, so make sure to wear water-proof shoes.

Lookout Hills Trail
Refreshed in 2019, the Lookout Hill Trail offers one of the best panoramic views of the Gros Morne Mountain, Bonne Bay and the Tablelands. It is a slow and steady climb to the top of the hill, but it is definitely worth the effort.

Southeast Brook Falls Trail
This short trail features a gorgeous 40 metre waterfall and a lush white birch and balsam fir forest. It is a great place to stretch the legs and takes under half an hour to hike.

Green Gardens
Follow the Green Gardens trail to the spectacular Old Man Cove coastline, sea stacks and Green Gardens meadows. A sea cave is accessible at low tide and there are sparkling waterfalls along the trail.

Snug Harbour Trail
Snug Harbour Trail is a challenging hike, due to the trail being in poor condition and very muddy. The trail leads to the campsite at base of the Long Range Mountains. The trail is lightly trafficked and is wonderful if you are looking to go off the beaten path.
