1. Autumn Classics
The Greater Toronto Philharmonic Orchestra will deliver a rich and challenging calendar of events, an affirmation of its maturity and high artistic standard built over the past seven years. The orchestra will perform Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony, the best-known piece of the classic repertoire. The program will also feature three young musicians, winners of North York Music Festival 2015 performing as soloists under the direction of maestro David Fallis.
2. Trio Jade
Cellist Jung-Ran Lee, pianist Hyo-Joo Lee, and violinist Ji-Yoon Park form the world-renowned classical ensemble, Trio Jade. Individually, they are also well known soloists, having previously won the Geneve Music Competition, Long Thibaud Music Competition, Queen Elizabeth Competition, and Isangyun Competition, among many others.
