1. La Mer & A Sea Symphony
Two top-rank composers’ vibrant portraits of the sea from 1905 and 1909, respectively, make up this marvelous program. Impressionist genius Claude Debussy’s view is animated and colourful. Setting the poetry of Walt Whitman, Englishman Ralph Vaughan Williams’s surging and broadly scaled piece for soloists, chorus, and orchestra views the sea as a metaphor for the most significant aspects of life.
2. A Raumantic Touch
Join the Etobicoke Philharmonic for A Raumantic Touch. Our opening concert spotlights the talents of mother and daughter Elizabeth and Erika Raum. We also pay homage to Jean Sibelius in celebration of the 150th Anniversary of his birth.
3. José Feliciano with special guest Pavlo
Feliciano: a name that is synonymous with music! An international presence that has influenced popular music for more than two generations; a name that is synonymous with a force that has bridged musical styles in a way that has never been equaled. Joining him on stage for this very special evening will be the Greek-Canadian guitarist and composer Pavlo. The musician’s Mediterranean music speaks for itself and has become famous for bringing every audience to its feet.

The “Order of Canada” Band: This star-studded group of Order of Canada recipients, together specially for this concert, features Jens Lindemann, Tommy Banks, Guido Basso, Terry Clarke, Phil Dwyer, Phil Nimmons, Don Thompson, and Dave Young. 9. Ukrainian Bandurist Chorus
With special guest Ruslana. The Ukrainian Bandurist Chorus has a long and proud history of representing Ukrainian bandura and choral music on the international stage. The bandura combines the musical characteristics of both the lute and the harp, It produces a sound similar to a harpsichord but has a wider range and tone. The all-male Chorus has captivated audiences in major concert halls in the United States, Canada, Europe, Australia, and Ukraine.
10. Film Music Gala
The Celebrity Symphony Orchestra returns with a magnificent recreation of world famous film music and songs, conducted by the charismatic Maestro Dr.Andrzej Rozbicki in the spectacular Film Music Gala.
