7-Eleven Canada is bringing back one of its most playful traditions just ahead of summer.

On April 10 and 11, customers can walk into stores with just about anything that qualifies as a “cup” and fill it with a Slurpee for $2.50.
The annual Bring Your Own Cup Day has built a reputation for creativity. People show up with everything from vases and pails to pots and even trophies. Last year alone, more than 60,000 containers were filled across the country.
This year, a live TikTok stream on @SlurpeeCanada will broadcast directly from the 7-Eleven store at 980 Islington Avenue in Etobicoke. Viewers can watch the action unfold and take part in polls every 10 minutes for a chance to win 7Rewards prizes. Some local creations may even get featured live.
The rules are straightforward. Containers must be clean, food-safe, leak-proof, and no wider than 26 centimetres in diameter.
Fans can expect popular flavours like Fanta Blue Raspberry alongside classics such as Crush Cream Soda. In-store visitors can also pick up wings for $0.89.
The event also kicks off a milestone year for the Slurpee, which turns 60 this summer. Canadians have been loyal to the drink since the 1960s, often mixing flavours instead of sticking to one. And when it comes to enthusiasm, Winnipeg continues to lead, holding its title as the Slurpee Capital of the World.
