Ontario’s chief medical officer of health, Dr. David Williams has recommended the immediate suspension of all large events and public gatherings of over 250 people due to COVID-19.
Dr. David Williams also said that organizers of gatherings with lesser than 250 people should consult with their local public health unit.
Yesterday, Alberta and British Columbia did the same by suspending all large gatherings over 250 people. Ontario government has also closed all publically funded schools until April 5, 2020.
CN Tower is closed until April 13, 2020.
