Mediacorp Canada Inc. has released its annual list of Top Employers for Canadians Over 40, highlighting organizations that provide meaningful support to employees in the later stages of their careers.

The initiative, part of the broader Canada’s Top 100 Employers project, acknowledges workplaces that actively invest in older workers through targeted benefits, training, and retirement planning.
The Top Employers for Canadians Over 40 competition evaluates organizations based on several key criteria: support programs for older workers, active recruitment of employees aged 40 and above, HR policies that value prior experience, and pension plans with fair employer contributions. It also considers retirement and succession planning, social engagement opportunities for retirees, post-retirement health benefits, and initiatives like mentorship and phased retirement. To qualify, employers must first be selected for the national Canada’s Top 100 Employers list.
