About Lake Louise Ski Resort, Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada
The only ski area in Canada to hold the FIS Ski World Cup circuit, Lake Louise Ski resort is one of the three ski resorts in Banff National Park.
It has a total of 145 runs (marked + back bowls) with 25% beginner, 45% intermediate and 30% advanced. The ski resort is served by 10 lifts including 3 magic carpets.
Lake Louise Ski Resort was awarded, “Best Ski Resort in Canada” at the World Ski Awards, 2013.

Things to do at Lake Louise Ski Resort

Snowboard or ski at the Showtime Terrain Park.
Snowshoe along the trails or go on a Snowshoe tour.
Snow Tube at the 4-lane ‘Sunny Tube’ run.
Go on a free ski area tour with Ski Friends and learn about ski area lifts, runs, facilities, or heritage. Good for an overall idea about the resort.
End your perfect day off at the resort by participating in the Torchlight Dinner & Ski Events(available only on certain days) – après drinks, appetizers and live music at the Whitehorn Lodge followed by skiing or snowboarding down the slopes. Finish of with dinner at Sitzmark Lounge.

If visiting during the Ice Magic Festival (at Lake Louise), see ice carving demonstration during January.

Depending on interest, two hours to 2-3 days.
Who all can visit Lake Louise Ski Resort?
Everybody. Childcare is available for kids <6 years.
For snow tubing: Children must be at least 4 years old and above 42 inches to ride.
How to get to Lake Louise Ski Resort?
Head east on Lake Louise Dr toward St Piran Rd, merge onto Bow Valley Parkway, then onto Whitehorn Dr. The main parking lot of Lake Louise ski resort will be on the right.
From Banff,
Head north on Trans Canada Highway, take the Bow Valley Parkway exit toward Lake Louise, continue onto Whitehorn Dr for about 2 km. The resort is on the right

Complimentary Shuttle buses are available from Lake Louise hotels. Buses are also available from Banff Town for an adult ticket charge of $10.00.
