It’s the hug you get making dinner when you least expect it. It’s setting your alarm clock at a ridiculous morning hour to sign-up for swim lessons. It’s the joy you feel from watching them learn to tie their shoes, ride a bike, and clean the dishes without you asking them to.
Artist and storyteller Jason Thompson performs his one-man show, The Art of Dad: big LITTLE moments that celebrates the joys and pains of parenting. Pairing his stories with sketches, Thompson explores the art of raising a family while making detours into the challenges of folding thong underwear, Godzilla’s eyesight and the power of Nutella.
