Events Description
On July 1, National Music Centre is celebrating Canada Day and the King Eddy’s anniversary with family-friendly live music on the King Eddy rooftop and mainstage from 1:00 pm ’til close.
Catch six-piece honky tonk country and roots dynamos Tom Phillips and The D.T.s, country artist Robert Adam, alt-roots band Cold Little Crow, and bilingual indie/folk-rock duo Post Script on the Eddy’s main floor, and old-time banjoist and songwriter Amy Nelson, indie-folk singer-songwriter Bennett Mitchell, country artist Mariya Stokes, and country duo The Rural Routes on the rooftop.
Make sure to head across the street for Canada Day at Studio Bell while you’re here. Explore Canada’s musical mosaic through new exhibitions, watch live performances from Canadian artists, and enjoy hands-on activities for the whole family throughout the museum.
