Run Calgary invites you to be a part of Calgary’s only Halloween night race, where the aid stations serve candy and there are prizes for being dead last. Coordinate the costumes because the real winners in this family and dog-friendly Halloween evening race in support of Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society (AARCS) are best costumes not top finishers in the 5 km 10 km or kids race.

We’ve put together a full evening of Halloween festivities that are sure to entertain all the goblins and ghouls in your life. We’re inviting all participants to join us before the races to explore our Halloween fun fest! Satisfy your sweet tooth with some trick-or-treating or enjoy free face painting. Then, get into character for the Halloween photo booth and spook-tacular family dance party!

Join us and come dressed up in your creative costumes, and don’t forget the costume for your pooch! All costumes, both human and pets, will be eligible for awards! The best dog costume will also win a prize package and, most importantly, they will be featured on the 2024 medal and shirt!
