Events Description
The confluence of the Bow and Elbow rivers has been a place of gathering since time immemorial. Gather around the fire at Mohkinstsis for a morning of fascinating stories and educational tales told by Indigenous storytellers from Treaty 7. Grab a cup of cider or hot chocolate, find a comfy seat and immerse yourself in tales expertly crafted by our speakers.
This April, Ooitskoi’pikssaakii Paula Smith from the Piikani Nation will share her stories from a Blackfoot perspective.
Admission to this program is free for Indigenous Peoples. If you wish to attend, please email programs@theconfluence.ca to confirm your seat.
