8th Annual Kincora Winter Festival

The Kincora Winter Festival is one of the Kincora Community Association’s most successful and well-attended events. Hosted at our City of Calgary Adopt-a-Rink, the festival brings Calgarians together outdoors during the winter season to promote physical activity, social connection, and community pride.

The event offers free public skating, complimentary skate and helmet rentals through the Play It Again Sports Skate Shack, and horse-drawn wagon rides through adjacent green space. Additional amenities include complimentary refreshments provided by community partners, creating a warm and welcoming environment for residents of all ages.

By removing financial barriers and offering the event at no cost, the Winter Festival ensures equitable access for families, seniors, youth, and newcomers.
