Events Description
Lantern-Fest is the celebration of the diverse cultural lantern festivals around the world. The festival is aimed to celebrate culture, creativity and community.
At the festival, attendees will decorate a paper lantern onsite to carry in the lantern walk. The lantern walk proceeds through the community with lighted lanterns guiding our way past community art installations, ending at Unity Park.
As added attractions, attendees will enjoy cultural entertainment, activities and historical information on lantern festivals around the world.

- Art Show
- Lantern walk at dusk- participants can make a lantern to walk with or bring their own. The walk will depart from the Southview Community Association and travel through the community, ending at Unity Park. Participants will also get to view local art along the way.
