Events Description
Lantern-Fest is the celebration of the diverse cultural lantern festivals around the world. The festival is aimed to celebrate culture, creativity and community.
At the festival, attendees will decorate a paper lantern onsite to carry in the lantern walk. The lantern walk proceeds through the community with lighted lanterns guiding our way past community art installations, ending at Unity Park.
As added attractions, attendees will enjoy cultural entertainment, activities and historical information on lantern festivals around the world.

- Face Painting/ Henna
- Caricatures
- Live Entertainment
- Roaming Performers
- Illuminated Art after sunset
New this year:
Cultural performances, allowing attendees to engage with performers and learn about their cultural significance.

The event is free to attend, we ask participants to register for a complimentary ticket to assist us in tracking participation numbers for our funding reporting purposes.
