“Light and Shadow” moves through music as a journey from brightness into mystery.
Pianist Dmitry Nesterov performs virtuosic solo works by Beethoven and Liszt, joined by his wife Olga Kotova for Prokofiev’s haunting Violin Sonata No. 1. Music that will inspire the imagination, from the grace and wit of Beethoven, the expressive lyricism of Liszt, and the introspection and exuberance of Prokofiev.
Join us in the hall at 2:40 PM for a short pre-show conversation featuring the artists, hosted by our Artistic Directors.
