Do you have pressing thoughts on every book you read? Have special place in your heart for Canadian literature? Want to expand your community of fellow bookworms? If this sounds like you, then the Reading by the Rivers Book Club at Fort Calgary is the perfect program for you!
Every month, we will read a book by a Canadian author. During the last week of the month, all readers will meet at Fort Calgary to discuss the book, eat and drink, and socialize with other book lovers. If you don’t own the book, don’t worry – all novels on our book list are accessible from the public library!
April’s book is Ducks: Two Years in the Oil Sands by Kate Beaton.
