Events Description
A groundbreaking performance by the Bach Elgar Choir
Experience a haunting and unforgettable evening as the Bach Elgar Choir presents a newly commissioned choral score accompanying the 1920 silent film Der Golem. This immersive event brings together live voices, dramatic scoring, and cinematic history, combining ancient folklore with new musical imagination.
Under the direction of Alexander Cann, the choir performs a brand-new, original composition created by Charles Demuynck exclusively for this performance. Audiences will witness the film projected on a large screen while the choir delivers the music live, transforming the narrative into a powerful, multisensory experience.
