Onkel Hans and Tante Frieda are excited to see you all don your Tracht, raise a stein, polka around,
and enjoy delicious Bavarian cuisine from our German Clubs and local restaurants!
Indulge the senses and experience tradition through Bingemans Ultimate Bavarian Feast, a unique and grand way to get your fill of Oktoberfest!… and by that, we mean you’ll be full after this feast!
Our chefs are proud to present a NEWLY curated selection of German culinary delights FOR 2023 in an experiential, Marche dining setting with live entertainment. We’re excited to serve you the most delicious and unforgettable Bavarian feast this side of Munich!
Savour authentic German schnitzel, Oktoberfest sausage, sauerkraut, spaetzle, and of course craft beer!

Oktoberfest Block Party – K-W Oktoberfest kicks off the 2023 Willkommen Platz in Downtown Kitchener, October 5th with the Oktoberfest Block Party! Featuring country-rock band The Road Hammers and authentic Bavarian entertainment straight from Germany, Dorfrocker! Local fan favourites The Golden Keys and The Western Swing Authority bring their high energy shows to make this a party you don’t want to miss!
Parade: The parade starts at 8:30 am at the corner of Weber Street East and Frederick Street. The parade travels up Weber Street and finishes at the Bridgeport Plaza at the corner of Weber and Bridgeport around 10:00 am.

Join us Thursday, October 5th to Sunday, October 8th as Downtown Kitchener transforms into a bustling Bavarian village like you’ve never seen it before – along King Street from Queen Street to City Hall, and down Gaukel Street to the Willkommen Platz Craft Biergarten in the Gaukel Block at 44 Gaukel Street!
Raise your stein in the craft biergarten, savour authentic German cuisine from one of our food vendors, shop our local vendor market, or sing along in front of the Schneiders Stage at one of our live performances – Oktoberfest is bringing the best of it to DTK!
Something for Everyone at the Willkommen Platz! Between Friday, October 6 to Sunday, October 8, Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest is pleased to transform DTK’s Gaukel Block into the Willkommen Platz!
