Events Description
Join the London Writers Society for an evening of laughter and literary insights with the incomparable Douglas Gibson. Dubbed “The Cartographer of Canadian Publishing” for promoting Canadian authors as publisher and editor during his decades at the helm of McClelland and Stewart, Gibson has worked with some of our brightest literary constellations, including: Robertson Davies, Margaret Atwood, Rohinton Mistry, Michael Ondaatje, W.O. Mitchell, and Nobel winner Alice Munro (to name a few).
Gibson will be interviewed by his friend, award-winning author and Canada’s master of political satire, Terry Fallis. Following the interview, there will be a Q&A session and a book signing. Proceeds will help fund London Writers Society initiatives to promote our members, local London writers.
