London
Events Description
Christmas starts here! Our 26th annual concert of joyous traditional and gospel Christmas music and sing-a-long carols is performed by the Choir of Wesley-Knox United Church directed by Karen Schuessler, along with the incomparable Denise Pelley, organ, and band. Also heard will be the Junior and Mysterium Youth Choirs.
From beloved carols to uptempo gospel numbers—from favourite Christmas pop tunes to beautiful Christmas choral pieces, this concert has it all! Including, of course, the infamous audience sing-a-long, The Twelve Days of Christmas!
Denise Pelley needs no introduction to London fans. A vocalist of rare talent and beauty, she has been part of the Wesley-Knox Christmas Concerts from the very beginning.
Steve Holowitz, piano, heads up the band along with Darryl Stacey on bass and Greg Mainprize on drums. And Ron Fox makes the mighty Wesley-Knox organ of over 3,000 pipes roar!
