BAIE

BAIE is an Acadian pop and disco band renowned for their colorful stage performances. The group is made up of 3 members: Chloé Breault (bass and vocals), Matt Boudreau (keyboards, guitars and vocals) and Marc-André Boudreau (electric guitar and vocals), accompanied by Maxence Cormier (drums) and other musicians in arrangements up to septet.

Their album Grand Bleu, released on the Le Grenier musique label in 2022, was produced by Katrine Noël and Mico Roy. Listening to BAIE is like plunging into love stories and heart-warming tales, with music that tastes of fruit punch and Froot Loops, set against a nostalgic sunset beach backdrop. The vocal harmonies touch the soul, as do the guitar reverbs that echo the light bass lines to deliver a sound halfway between ABBA and Fleetwood Mac, recalling the sunny vibes of Earth, Wind & Fire.

Embark with them and let the big smile that blooms on your face as the songs unfold, your pelvic movements converge in a huge celebration of the bygone era of disco and rock from the 60s and 70s, with a touch of today’s pop. So, get your glitter on, spray yourself with planet-friendly Spraynet and get dancing at the NAC’s Fourth Stage. A show forbidden to those who don’t like to have fun.
