Please join us at The Shenkman Arts Centre for Ottawa-based artist Ava Margueritte’s solo exhibition ‘Landfall’. This new photographic series explores mental health personal identity and our connection to nature through analogue photography.
‘Landfall’ brings attention to conversations surrounding mental health by illustrating its continuous cyclical presence and challenging conventional narratives about this universal human experience. Using the fluidity of nature contrasted by the rigidity of society to represent the balance of self.
