In the show CORPO PULSAÇÃO (Body Pulsation), Lara Klaus connects to the vital force that animates her, the poetry of constant movement and transformation, as well as the energy that flows through every being. The pulse symbolises the heartbeat reflected in percussion, and the vital rhythm that keeps us in motion.
As a drummer, singer-songwriter, and performer, Lara Klaus creates music that touches the heart and makes bodies move. Originally from Recife, Brazil, and now based in Montreal, she skillfully blends Afro-Brazilian rhythms with contemporary soul-pop sounds. Founder of LADAMA, an acclaimed all-female trio known for its albums and bold performances, Lara uses her art to advocate for diversity and celebrate joy and resistance. With a praised debut album and a new project set for 2025, she continues to push artistic and cultural boundaries, connecting audiences wherever she goes.
