Join Ottawa songwriters Shawn Tavenier and Eric Vieweg for a night of music and stories as they debut their project The Golden Low with the release of their album Lost as Where We Are.
The album is a collection of songs that draw their themes from the story of the Franklin Expedition and use this unique historical focal point as a metaphor for events in Eric and Shawn’s lives over the last decade, and as a reflection of many aspects of life in general.
Themes of isolation, adventure, sadness, and joy made the creation of the album a rewarding and humbling endeavour for Eric and Shawn. It is the ambition of The Golden Low that this new album of songs adds to the ever-growing collection of artwork, literature and music borne out of a truly intriguing chapter in history.
