Afro-Laughs: A Black Comedy Revue

Join us at the beautiful Jokers Theatre and Comedy Lounge in Richmond Hill for a hilarious evening of comedy and laugher, featuring some of the very best black comics in the region.

Your featured performers are:

Chris Robinson: One of the top professional comics in Canada, Chris has been in The Just For Laughs, has his own special on Crave TV, and has been on CBC and CTV shows. He was the winner of the Sirius XM Top Comic competition, and is a recipient of the Bob Curry Fellowship scholarship from Second City.

Keesha Brownie: Keesha is a Toronto-based comic and multi-disciplinary artist with a global reputation. She earned a Canadian Comedy Award nomination for Best Female Stand-Up in 2015 and has made a name for herself across Canada, the United States, the Caribbean and the United Kingdom. You may recognize her from the She-Devil Comedy Festival in NYC, Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Kenny Robinson’s Nubian Disciples of Pryor Comedy Review, or as a pre-show act for Adam Sandler on his 100% Fresh Tour.

Evan Carter: A long-time instructor at the world famous Second City, Evan is a true master of comedy. He’s performed at the Pan Am games, for big corporate clients, and for thousands of people on big stages across North America. There’s a reason why he’s one of the most well-respected names in the comedy scene!

Kevin Christopher: One of the most accomlished comedians in Canada, Kevin has headlined at Yuk Yuk’s across Canada, as well as other large stages. He has been on several TV shows and voice projects, and you are sure to love his story telling and in your face comedy style.
