Events Description

Fall for Dance North (FFDN), Toronto’s premier international dance festival, presents an electrifying range of live performances.

The 9th annual festival includes Toronto debuts from the UK’s Ballet Black, which celebrates dancers of Black and Asian descent; the UK’s Candoco, one of the world’s foremost inclusive dance companies; and NYC’s Gibney Company, who are redefining what a contemporary dance company looks like.

Additional highlights include the live premiere of My Mother’s Son from Mthuthuzeli and Siphesihle November; the presentation of Ohad Naharin’s interactive KAMUYOT, performed by Charlotte Ballet; and a special preview of Swan Song, a new original CBC documentary series about the making of Karen Kain’s Swan Lake for The National Ballet of Canada. FFDN’s live performances will be complemented by a dedicated stream of innovative digital programming. Festival packages, single tickets, and complete details at: ffdnorth.com.
