Music at Met presents: JS Bach St Mark Passion BWV 247 (reconstr. Koolstra)
The second Canadian performance of Bach’s Markus-Passion, BWV 247, as reconstructed by Robert Koolstra (2017). The Met Choir and Baroque Orchestra are joined by Philippe Gagné as Evangelist and Clarence Frazer as Jesus. Jonathan Oldengarm, direction and continuo. Pre-concert talk by Jonathan Oldengarm at 6:30 p.m.
