Events Description
On Friday, October 2nd, join us for the Indonesian Friday the 13th! Where summer camp is still dangerous!
Movie info:
It’s the month of Halloween, and what better time to see the Friday the 13th rip-off you’ve probably never seen!
Srigala is Indonesia’s wonderfully wild take on the original Friday the 13th. And if you’re wondering, “Is this a true slasher film?” Absolutely… but with a healthy pinch of Southeast Asian over-the-top cinema thrown into the mix!
Considered an obscure gem of Southeast Asian horror, Srigala is a must-see, especially if you love slashers, cult horror, and movies that aren’t afraid to get a little weird.
Srigala was directed by legendary Indonesian filmmaker Sisworo Gautama Putra, who also directed the original Satan’s Slaves!
Like Friday the 13th, the story follows a gaggle of young adults — aka future slasher victims — who make their way to a remote lakeside camp. There’s a little relaxation, a little fun…and then the chaos begins!
