Events Description

Starting December 3, Santa’s Village will bring holiday cheer to all, as visitors will get a chance to have a Meet & Greet with Santa! Santa’s Village in support of the SickKids Foundation is a unique interactive Meet & Greet experience with Santa Claus and his elves. The Union Station Skywalk (7 Station Street, Toronto) will transform into Santa’s workshop, complete with decorated Christmas trees, lit garland, Nutcrackers, Reindeer, Snowmen, festive music and, of course, Santa and his trusted Elves.

Santa’s Village TO will bring the magic of the holidays back to visitors after a two-year hiatus. The 45-minute Santa’s Village experience includes an interactive storytime with Santa as he reads Twas the Night Before Christmas followed by an opportunity for children to stand (Socially Distanced) in front of Santa and take pictures.

I booked a visit to Santa’s Village prior to the Omicron variant and surging COVID cases. While I did read the fine print of non-refundable tickets, I assumed with the adult population being double vaccinated and children ages 5-11 years old being eligible, that it would be safe for my toddler. Unfortunately, today we are at 3,100+ cases and children under 5 years old still ineligible for vaccination. Given this event targets children and young children, I asked for a refund as we are in a unique situation and in the midst of a pandemic. I was disappointed to hear that we would be ineligible for a refund. It appears that profits are more important than the safety of our children. Due to this reason, I will not recommend this event to my friends or family in the future.
