Every “stain” is a trace of growth and transformation.
Each newcomer arriving in Canada is learning anew the meaning of “belonging” and “becoming.” The invisible marks, the courage to leave home, the struggles to adapt, the blending of cultures, and the search for identity, quietly become the colors on the canvas of their lives.
The “Stains” Visual Art Exhibition brings together nine newcomer artists from Brazil, China, Iran, and Turkey. Under the theme “Stains,” they express their journeys and emotions through art, each piece a reflection of healing, renewal, and transformation.
