Those who don’t believe in magic will never find us. Every adventure requires a first step.

Toronto Spring Festival is an annual multidisciplinary arts and culture festival that brings people together to celebrate the coming of spring. Join us for the 4th annual Spring Festival of its kind through an immersive celebration of arts and culture. Notable acts are tree house making, exhibitions, silent disco, musical journey, curated shop, screenings, taste and aroma journey.

PROGRAMS

Kids & Youth Exhibition
Bunny, can you plant a tree? In partnership with Toronto Parks and Trees Foundation we are inviting little artists (ages 5-12) to submit their drawings and be part of our fun-filled kids exhibition this spring. Their artworks will be showcased at the festival and donated to help raise funds for TPTF for their Tree Planting Campaign. Every Tree Counts. www.tptf.ca

Treehouse Making
The Design Exchange Education team, will be leading a mixed media, drop in “Treehouse Design” activity inspired by architecture and nature. Participants will design their own mini tree house model. http://www.dx.org/

Spring Boutique
Greet spring with essentials; a curated boutique of stories, design objects and experiences that equip you for the arrival of spring.

Immersive Installations
Imaginative, playful, unconventional. Each year, the festival works with local and international artists across a broad range of creative practices to push boundaries, challenge conventions and explore new ways of expression.

Parking Gallery Video Archive
In partnership with Parking Gallery, the works of five multimedia Iranian artists are presented under the theme of winter, dreams, moving place and gardens. Participating Artists: Saman Khosravi, HamedSahihi, Simin Yaghoubi, Ramin Rahimi, Goli Omidvar.

Immersive Audio Experiences
Three one-hour soundscape episodes

Live Performance
Zuze Band: A 10-pc folk-jazz ensemble revivifying Iranian folk melodies through Afro-inspired rhythms.

Taste Journey
Homemade artisan baked goods, healthy snacks and food of the season inspired by traditional persian cuisine.

Bubble Trouble
The right cocktail is more than just a drink. It’s the perfect combination of scent color, sound and taste inspired by the season.

Techno Rabbit
Consolidating the festival’s reputation for cutting-edge musical journey, the Audio Visual program will enrapture our visitors with light and dance tunes all night long
