The Astro Arts Festival serves to honour and continue the powerful impact of urban art and muralism on Vancouver’s community.
Hosted at the Astro Club Artist Facility (165 W 4th Ave), the free all-ages festival will feature 30+ experimental murals painted live, street art works, a graffiti jam, the unveiling of 6 large-scale murals, a beer garden, DJ’s, an artisan market, and open art studios. It will also host the return of 100 Amigos, a gallery exhibition co-curated by Douglas Coupland, Pablo Zamudio, and Drew Young and Snag: The Astro After Party, a live-art and raffle event. The festival celebrates public art and the talent of Astro Club’s extended creative community.
