Come and join us at the Kitsilano Showboat to celebrate Canada’s Birthday. There will be entertainment, goodies, fun & games for the children.

Meike Jeurgens: Bring all the kids and Meike Jeurgens will lead the children in games, activities and fun for all; a Kids Dance Party. The dance party is a fun and a fast way to kick off our Canada Day Celebration.
Story Time with Barry: Our president Barry Leinbach is back with original stories that children help to develop, allowing their imaginations to create the story line and characters. It is a fun and entertaining time for the whole family.
Music with Marnie: Described as “One of the best performers of her generation” by the Vancouver International Children’s Festival, Marnie will be sure to captivate every child and have them grooving to her songs. Each song tells a story with an action, keeping children focused, physical and having fun throughout the show.
Vancouver Puppet Theatre is an original, fun and captivating entertainment for children. Come and enjoy Viktor and his unique characters of puppets.
Freddie Fuddpucker Band & His Rolling Clones: This is a marching band with a difference! They are highly colourful, very mobile and great entertainment for all ages. Follow them as they march through the beach area to celebrate Canada Day.
South Van Big Band: The South Van Big Band is a 19 piece jazz orchestra based in Metro Vancouver. The band has a broad spectrum of musical tastes ranging across blues, Latin jazz, fund, swing, bebop and contemporary styles.
