Events Description
APPLAUSE! Musicals In Concert presents its 50th production, Do I Hear A Waltz? – a musical featuring the music of the renowned Richard Rodgers (The Sound of Music, Oklahoma, Carousel, Cinderella), the clever lyrics of the burgeoning genius, Stephen Sondheim, and the book by Arthur Laurents (West Side Story & Gypsy).
Do I Hear A Waltz? is a touching, bittersweet musical set in 1960s Venice, where a young tourist’s romantic journey leads to love but also reveals its cost. This is a special opportunity to experience a seldom-seen and nearly forgotten musical, the only collaboration between three giants of the musical theatre genre. It plays at the intimate PAL Theatre in Vancouver for 4 performances from December 1st to 3rd. Tickets brownpapertickets.com
