River Basin Days: Winter Weather Wonders

Held on the second Saturday of every month, ‘River Basin Days’ is a series of outdoor public programs hosted by the Fraser River Discovery Centre, geared towards families. Join us at rotating locations around the Fraser River Basin as we explore this incredible watershed.

Discover new ways to explore local parks with us as we head out to Surrey Bend Regional Park on Saturday, January 13th at 2:00pm! We’ll learn all about the basics of weather, how humans and animals stay warm in the winter weather, and observe and record the weather through a weather tracking journal. Bring good shoes and ample curiosity! This activity is aimed at families and older children.
