TAFF Art Society presents Waiting for Godot
A tagicomedy play in two acts.
“Waiting for Godot” is a groundbreaking absurdist play by Samuel Beckett, centered on two characters, Vladimir and Estragon, who wait endlessly for someone named Godot. As they wait, they engage in existential conversations, meet strange visitors, and grapple with the uncertainty of Godot’s arrival. A profound meditation on the human condition, the play explores themes of hope, meaning, and time, with humour and philosophical depth. Beckett’s masterpiece is celebrated for its minimalist style, sharp dialogue, and its powerful reflection on the absurdity of existence.
